Videogame PÏTCH: Saxon+art deco city is hit by Egyptian Coral/undersea zombies.

EXT. NORTH SHORE OF THE CITY, THE SEA, COLD & DARK SUNSET

The zombies arrived at the shore, hungry, angry, fast.

the Saxons wait, the city is quiet, only the windmills, calm fires, metal moving sound and a distant sound of zombies.

Main Goal, CITYSCAPE looks close.
Main feeling, Scary, Blood, Darkness.
Main Phrase, Waiting for the shadows.


Steps/process/Software

DAY 1

  1. Block-out the City/Roads/Building/Terrain (talk with Modeling Team/Art Director)

maya+VR.GRAvITYSKETCH+zbrush+Any.terrainsoftware+kitbash+Photoshop+nuke

2. Explore and find the right Angle/Lens/Distance

 

3. Render/Adjust Light/Adjust Camara. (give variations, talk with Art Director)

4. Prepare the Frame/Layers (talk with Compositing Team)

 

5. Quick Color Sketch (give variations, Talk with Art Director or Director and lock a direction)

DAY 2

1. After getting a direction (B)
-Organize the painting by sections (depending on time/days) and layers (depending on the camara movement)
-Then refine sections with art direction (in this case is a mix of painting and photobashing)

2. Paint the Rest (notes: too red, make it colder)
